At the Gary Sinise Foundation we serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.

Alliance Curriculum

Before he founded the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011, Gary traveled the country, and world, raising morale and funds on behalf of other nonprofits that provided support to our nation’s defenders and their families. Gary and the Gary Sinise Foundation continue to support and work with many of those same nonprofits today. At the Gary Sinise Foundation we understand no matter how broad our mission and reach, one organization cannot fulfill all the needs of our active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families.

The Foundation provides a wide-ranging mission of support, however, through supporting unique programs provided by like-minded organizations that specialize in services we do not programmatically provide, we are able to make a greater impact in the communities in which we mutually serve. To ensure that these like-minded nonprofits and organizations are in sync with the scope of our mission, they must have aligning vision, values, strategy, and structure – mirroring the Foundation’s V2S2 structure. By supporting unique programs, we hope to provide the best, and broadest, services and resources to those we are serving.
